Description

This is an early 18th-century house, originally of two-unit plan, located on the north side of Yarwell Main Street. The house is constructed from squared coursed limestone with a Collyweston slate roof. It is a single-storey building with an attic. The front elevation has a two-window range of 19th-century casement windows, each set under a wooden lintel. A central 19th-century four-panel door is also set under a wooden lintel. A hipped roof dormer to the left incorporates a horizontal sliding sash window. A brick stack, now rendered, is located at the end of the building. A single-storey extension to the rear was added later. Attached to the left is a mid-19th-century, two-storey shop of single-unit width. The interior has not been inspected.
