Description

The Village Hall, built in the mid-19th century, features rubble-stone walls with dressed stone quoins and a slate roof with gable ends and boxed eaves. It is a single-storey structure with two windows, each consisting of two-light cast-iron casements that have glazing bars and pointed-arch heads. The windows display Y-tracery heads with two sets of intersections. At the center of the building is a rubble-stone porch, which has ashlar stone jambs and a pointed-arch head. The entrance includes a two-leaf plank door topped with a plank tympanum. On the east gable wall, there is a three-light stone mullion window with a transom and a returned label above it.
