Description
The Yews is a mid to later 19th-century building, originally two storeys and an attic in height, and originally two window bays with a central doorway. The front facing Kelston is rendered, while the fronts of The Yews and St Kilda are stuccoed. It has stone plinths, and sash windows with frames, lacking glazing bars. The doorways are round-headed, featuring voussoirs, with six-panelled doors and radiating tracery to the fanlights. The building is listed at Grade II for group value, forming a group with the south-east return of No 122, a garden wall, and railings in Newland, and with the premises occupied by Castleton Stores, "m and e" centre, and Wenlock.
