Description

The Malt House is a 19th-century building located on Long Street. It is two stories high and features a three-window stone front with a pantile roof and two dormers. The sash windows, which are likely from the late 19th century or later, are set within stone mullions and have dripmoulds above the lower windows. The doorway is adorned with a stone pediment supported by moulded brackets. The Malt House is part of a group that includes Digby Estate Nos 271 to 274, Wyekham Cottage, Fernleigh, The Shell, Mistletoe Cottage, Fairfields, Eastfields, Tyndall, Linden, The Cottage, and Corner House.
