Description
This house, located immediately north of The Yews in Coneysthorpe, is likely from the early 18th century and has undergone various additions and alterations, including a heightening in the late 18th century. It is constructed of sandstone with brick stacks and features a pantile roof. The building has two storeys and three first-floor windows, with a single-storey, three-bay range to the right.
The main range has an off-centre, 20th-century part-glazed door set beneath a flat stone arch, flanked by 16-pane sash windows with tooled wedge lintels. The left bay is recessed at ground-floor level. On the first floor, there are three-light Yorkshire sashes. The house has end stacks. The right range includes a boarded door with an adjoining casement window and a two-light Yorkshire sash, along with a further blocked opening. The roof is swept.
