Description

The Yews is a house located in Coneysthorpe, dating from the late 18th century, with a refronting from the 19th century. It is constructed of sandstone with a brick facade in Flemish bond and has a pantile roof. The building stands two storeys high and has three bays. The central entrance features a six-fielded-panel door with a divided overlight, all under a keyed flat brick arch. The windows are sashes with glazing bars, also set beneath painted keyed flat brick arches. The house has gable coping and shaped kneelers, with stacks at each end.
