Description

Primrose Cottage is a house located in Coneysthorpe, dating from the late 18th century, with later additions and alterations. It is constructed from hammer-dressed sandstone and features a pantile roof. The building consists of two parallel ranges beneath an M-shaped roof and is a single storey with two bays. The entrance is off-centre, featuring a 20th-century half-glazed door. The windows are casement style with stone sills and are set in enlarged openings, all of which are topped with channelled lintels. The roof is swept, and there are end stacks. This cottage is included for its group value.
