Description
Yew Tree House, built in the early 19th century, is a two-storey brick house with a stucco facade and a slate roof. It features two bays and a twin gabled rear wing. The entrance door, which has six panels and is fielded, is located on the right gable and is topped with a leaded fanlight, all beneath an open timber verandah. The facade is distinguished by raised combed quoins and tall four-pane sash windows that have glazing bars intersecting at the top, along with wide stucco keystones. The eaves are adorned with slide modillion, and the hipped roof has stacks on the gable walls. The facade is further enhanced by tall crenellated walls with door openings, with the right wall sweeping down to gate piers. Additionally, there is a low front garden wall featuring a late 19th-century cast iron balustrade.
