Description

Glebe House is an 18th-19th century house located on the west side of South Street in Aldbourne. It is constructed of sarsen rubble with brick dressings and has a brick gable on the right side, all under a thatched roof. The house is two storeys high and has four bays, with the first bay being a blank facade. A central 3-panelled door is covered by a 20th-century supported canopy. The ground floor has 19th-century timber casement windows with segmental heads. The roof is hipped on the left side and incorporates a stack in the first bay, while another stack is situated in the rebuilt gable on the right. Inside, the right bay features an inglenook.
