Description

ZENNOR SW 43 NW 3/240 Barn and adjoining buildings at - approximately 50 metres south southwest of Higher Porthmeor Farmhouse GV II Barn and adjoining buildings. Circa early-mid C19. Granite rubble with granite dressings. Half-hipped scantle slate roof over barn, right hand building has scantle slate roof with gable ends. Plan: probably granary over shippon/barn left and long rectangular shippons middle and right. Later C19 outshut at front left of barn. Exterior: 2 storey barn, shippon with storage loft mostly in roof space. North west front has 4 doorways and 2 windows plus doorway into right-hand wall of barn outshut. Original openings. Interior: not inspected. Part of an unspoiled coastal hamlet set in the ancient field system of this part of Cornwall.
