Description
This building, possibly a tack house, dates from around the mid-19th century and is located at the rear of the stable southwest of Higher Porthmeor Farmhouse. It features granite rubble walls with granite dressings and a scantle slate roof with gable ends. The structure has a small single-cell plan with an entrance in the middle of the front (east) side. It is a single-storey building, with a central doorway and two small windows at the rear, one of which is blocked. This building is part of an unspoiled coastal hamlet situated within the ancient field system of this area in Cornwall.
