Town house, now shop. Late C18. Freestone ashlar front; natural slate hipped roof behind parapet. Deep plan has original entrance hall on the right and late C19 shop in place of former parlour, on the left. 3 storeys; 4-window front. Round-headed doorway on the right, with three-quarter fluted Doric columns, triglyphs to entablature and an open pediment; panelled reveals, 6-panel door and spoked fanlight; rusticated quoins, flat arches with projecting keyblocks over C19 or C20 horned sashes with glazing bars to tops of 1st-floor sashes and moulded parapet with blind arcade to frieze. Circa late C19 two-light shop front has doorway on the left, with overlight; panelled terminal pilasters with consoles with moulded cornice to the fascia and slender turned mullions to the shop window. INTERIOR not inspected but likely to be of interest.
