Description
This is a fairly large town house, likely dating from the late 18th century, located on Church Street in Falmouth. It was later adapted to include a shop. The exterior is constructed of freestone ashlar with keyblocks defining the flat arches and a heavy, moulded parapet cornice featuring glyphs to the frieze, which returns on the right-hand side. The roof is covered with asbestos slate. The building follows a double-depth plan with a wing extending at the rear left. It is three storeys high and has a five-window front. It retains its original 12-pane hornless sash windows. The ground floor has an old, full-width moulded cornice above a recessed shop front installed in the late 20th century. The interior has not been inspected.
