Description

This is a lamp post located north-west of the Church of King Charles the Martyr in Falmouth. It dates from the late 19th century and is made of cast iron. The lamp post features a turned base, a fluted column, and a turned cross bar that intersects with a frieze of turned entablature. The lamp housing is a 20th-century replica. This lamp post is included for its group value with the nearby church.
