Description
12 and 13 Arwenack Street are shop premises dating from the early to mid 19th century. The front is finished in stucco, and the building has a dry slate hipped roof. It features a double-depth plan with rear wings and stands three storeys tall, presenting a three-window range. The original 12-pane sash windows are intact, except for the left window on the first floor, which has had its glazing bars removed. There is a central round-arched niche on the first floor that once held a statue. The ground floor has two early 20th-century shop fronts, each with a moulded entablature and sloping fascia, along with end pilasters and consoles. The central entrance is splayed and includes a two-panel door, a blind arched fanlight, and a glazed door to the right. No. 13, on the left, features leaded glazing over the transom, while No. 12 has a glazed return on the far right. The interior has not been inspected.
