Description
No. 11 Arwenack Street is a late 18th-century town house, later adapted for use as a shop. The front is faced with stucco, featuring channelled rustication and flat arches with dropped keys. A moulded parapet cornice tops the building, with slatehanging to the rear and an asbestos slate roof. The design incorporates a double-depth plan over three storeys, with a regular four-window front. The windows are 20th-century replacements of original 12-pane sashes. The ground floor features a full-width, early 20th-century moulded entablature above a late 20th-century shop front, and retains the original doorway on the right-hand side, which has an 8-panel door and a segmental-arched fanlight. The interior has not been inspected.
