Description
No. 19 Arwenack Street is a town house with a later shop, dating from the early 19th century. It features a stucco exterior on a rubble base and has a slate roof. The building has a double-depth plan and stands three storeys high with a three-window range. The original windows are 12-pane hornless sashes, with three on the second floor and one on the first floor, positioned slightly to the left above an original round-arched doorway that is pilastered and has a moulded hood supported by consoles. To the right, there is a tall shop front from around 1900, which includes a transom, a moulded cornice, and a fascia at the level of the first-floor window head, along with incised end pilasters. There is also a late 20th-century shop window to the left of the doorway. The interior has not been inspected.
