Description

This is a town house with later shops, likely dating from the 18th century and remodelled in the early to mid-19th century. The exterior is stuccoed over masonry, with rusticated quoins and triangular pediments featuring carved panels within consoles above the first-floor windows and sills resting on brackets. The roof is covered with steep asbestos slates and has projecting eaves, with rendered end stacks and moulded cast-iron gutters. The building follows a double-depth plan and is three storeys high with a five-window facade. The windows are late 19th or 20th century horned sashes in tall openings. The ground floor includes a large recessed 20th-century shop front and, to the left, a house entrance with panelled reveals and a four-panel door. The interior has not been inspected.
