Description
No. 16 St Mary's Street is a town house that has been converted into a shop, dating from the late 18th century or early 19th century. The front has a render that replaces the original stucco, and there is a hipped asbestos slate roof behind a parapet. The building stands three storeys tall and features a two-window front with 20th-century tripartite hornless sash windows that include glazing bars, topped by a plain band at the parapet. The ground floor has a 20th-century four-light double shop front with a central six-panel door and overlight, flanked by flat end pilasters and a fascia with a moulded cornice. The interior has not been inspected but is likely to be of interest.
