Farmhouse, Front Garden Walls And Adjoining Cartshed At Sw 428364

This is a farmhouse, front garden walls, and adjoining cartshed dating from the 18th century. It is constructed of granite rubble with granite dressings, featuring an asbestos slate roof and granite stacks over the gable ends of the original house, while the right side has a scantle slate roof. The farmhouse has a two-room plan, with a wider area likely serving as the kitchen on the right, a parlour on the left, and a lobby entrance situated between them. There is a 19th-century addition at the rear. The building is two storeys high and has a nearly symmetrical southeast front with two windows and a doorway to the left of the center. The interior has not been inspected. This property is part of an unspoiled coastal hamlet located within the ancient field system of this area of Cornwall.
