Description

This is a guide post dating from the early 19th century, made of painted dressed granite. It is square in shape and features incised inscriptions on two adjoining sides. The left-hand side has the inscription "2T IV2" with an Ordnance Survey bench mark underneath, indicating a height of 6 meters. The right-hand side displays the inscription "PENZ" above a hand pointer that indicates "ANCE" at a distance of 6 meters.
