Description

This is a guidepost located at SX 143681, dating from the 19th century. It is made from roughly hewn granite and has a square plan, standing about 2 metres high. The guidepost features carved indentations on two edges. At the top, the original iron shaft has been replaced with a later cast iron bracket, which supports three 20th-century wooden signboards indicating directions to Bodmin, Mount, and Cardinham.
