Description
Guidepost located at SX 088647, dating from the late 19th century. It is made of cast iron and features a circular plan shaft topped with a spike finial. The guidepost has four cast iron collars, each supporting a cast iron signplate arm that displays raised upper case lettering. The sign indicates directions to various locations: Bodmin (13/4), Respryn (1), Lostwithiel (4), Fowey (10), Liskeard (12), and Launceston (23).
