Description

Guidepost, late 19th century. This guidepost is a granite monolith, roughly hewn, with a square plan and stands about one metre high. At the top, it has a replacement iron shaft, featuring a cast iron collar. Wrought iron brackets support 20th-century wooden sign boards, which display painted lettering in lower case: Mount and Warleggan, Maidenwell, Cardinham, and Bodmin.
