Description

No. 18 is an early 19th-century house. It is constructed of elvan ashlar to the front, with granite dressings including lintels, and has a grouted scantle slate roof with brick end stacks, the right-hand stack rebuilt in the 20th century. The house has a shallow-depth plan. The symmetrical front has three windows on each floor. The windows are original 16-pane hornless sashes, and the central doorway has a 20th-century glazed door. The interior has not been inspected. The front garden is enclosed by rubble side walls, and a granite ashlar plinth runs along the front. The central gateway has round-headed granite gate piers.
