Description
This building is a farmhouse, likely from the 18th century, located at Madron Boswarthen. It features granite rubble construction with granite dressings and has a steep grouted scantle slate roof, with asbestos slate at the rear. The roof has original granite stacks over the gable ends, with the left-hand stack being external and possibly serving a former older house that is now in ruins next door.
The layout consists of two rooms with a lobby in between, likely a kitchen on the left and a larger parlour on the right. The exterior is two storeys high with a slightly irregular two-window south front. The doorway is slightly left of centre, and the first-floor windows are grouped closer together. The door is a 20th-century addition, while the windows include old 12-pane casements and 4-pane horned sashes on the first floor. There are also two small original openings at the rear left.
The interior has not been inspected. At the front, there is a low granite coped wall with granite monolithic gate piers.
