Description
The building is a piggery located north of Carfury Farmhouse, dating from the early to mid 19th century. It is constructed of granite rubble with granite dressings and features a corrugated iron roof with mortar-coped gable ends. The piggery has a rectangular plan and includes four doorways on the south side. It is a single-storey structure with a regular front, where the doorways are positioned towards the left of each pig's house, and small windows are located to the right on the first two from the left. A 18th-century two-panel door, reused from the farmhouse, is found at the far left. The piggery is part of a group of unspoiled farm buildings situated on the edge of moorland farmland, which relate to an interesting 18th-century house. The interior has not been inspected.
