Description

Old Bosiliack Farmhouse is a farmhouse that features a resited datestone from 1677, although the current structure likely dates from the 18th century or was refronted in the 18th century. It is built from granite rubble with granite dressings that include reused 17th-century fragments. The roof is made of slurried scantle slate and has dressed granite stacks at the gable ends. The farmhouse has a two-room plan with an entrance lobby and stair located between what is probably a parlour on the left and a slightly larger kitchen on the right. There is a 19th-century lean-to addition at the rear middle of the building.

The exterior is two storeys high and features a nearly symmetrical three-window south front, with the doorway positioned slightly to the left of the center. The entrance includes a circa early 20th-century ledged door and six-pane horned sash windows. There is a reused three-light mullioned window head or sill above the left-hand window, and a chamfered dated lintel above the doorway. The interior has not been inspected.
