Description
This is a piggery built around the mid-19th century. It is constructed from granite rubble with granite dressings and features a scantle slate roof with gable ends. The building consists of a row of five pig's pens, with the left-hand pen being wider, likely used as a food store. There is a granite partition between two of the pens. The structure is oriented end on to the slope of the land, following its natural contour. There are five doorways on the north side. This piggery is a virtually complete example from the 19th century, located in an unspoiled hamlet that features buildings from the 17th to 19th centuries.
