Description
This is a barn, likely used as a granary over a shippon, waggon shed, and stable, dating from the early 19th century. It is constructed from granite rubble with granite dressings and features a half-hipped scantle slate roof. The barn has a large rectangular loft with central opposing winnowing doorways above what is probably the shippon on the left, which has two doorways at the front. The middle section, originally a waggon shed, has a wide doorway at the front that has since been altered to a doorway and window. The stable on the right has a doorway and window at the front. The exterior is two storeys high with a fairly regular two-window east front, featuring old ledged doors and original two-light casement windows. The interior has not been inspected but likely retains its original first floor and roof structures.
