9/180 Barn at approximately 15 metres - north of Nansidwell Farmhouse

GV II

Barn, probably granary and hayloft over waggon house and stables. Circa early C19. Killas rubble walls with granite dressings. Grouted scantle slate roofs with integral outshuts at either end. Plan: Long rectangular plan with waggon shed left of middle; stables on the right and at far left and right. Probably granite steps at rear (not inspected) to loading/ winnowing doorway. Ground slopes down to right. Exterior: 2-storeys. Slightly asymmetrical 1 window south front: wide waggon doorway, left of middle with keyed segmentally headed arch; window over narrow doorway right of middle with loading/winnowing doorway over and similar arrangement towards right; pair of doorways at right and left and windows at far right and left, some old ledged doors and windows with shutters. Interior Not inspected.
