GV II

Barn and adjoining horse-engine house. Circa early mid C19. Killas rubble with granite dressings. Grouted scantle slate roof with gable end on the left and hipped end on the right. Barn has threshing floor towards the left with opposing first floor loading/winnowing doorways. The loft is probably a granary and fodder store over 2 waggon sheds, each with a stable on its left. Exterior: 2 storeys. Virtually unaltered since the C19. Regular north-east front has 4 ground floor doorways: 2 wide doorways and 2 narrow doorways. Only window is a first floor left, a 2-light window with original shutters. 3 loading doorways, over 3 of the ground floor doorways (towards the left and on the right) with original ledged split doors. C20 ledged doors to ground floor openings except for left-hand waggon doorway which has a pair of old windows with hopper top lights. Interior not inspected.
