Description
This is a barn dating from the late 18th century or early 19th century, constructed from granite rubble with granite dressings. It features a grouted scantle slate roof with gable ends. The left-hand gable end has moulded kneeler stones that may have been reused. The barn has a long rectangular plan and includes a first-floor loading or winnowing doorway on the right, accessed by a large stone ramp. There is a 20th-century extension at the rear. The exterior is two storeys high, with an irregular southeast front that has a central rubble and dressed granite ramp leading to the first-floor doorway on the right. To the left, there is a window, and on the right, there is a partly glazed former loading doorway. The barn features old ledged doors and 2-light casements with overlights. The interior has not been inspected.
