Description

The cross at Nun Careg is a pre-Conquest monument made from dressed granite. It features a wheel-head and has no visible base. One side of the cross displays a small Greek cross in relief above a U-shaped channel, while the opposite side has a larger cross patee, both carved in relief. This cross is noted in the publication "Crosses of West Cornwall" by Laura Rowe and is designated as a Scheduled Ancient Monument.
