Description

Boskenna Cross is a pre-Conquest cross located at Boskenna Cross. It is made of dressed granite and features a wheel-headed design with a short integral shaft. This shaft is set over a later round shaft and is socketed into a stepped round base composed of two granite monoliths. One face of the cross depicts the crucifixion, while the opposite side displays a Greek cross and four bosses, all carved in relief. The site is designated as a Scheduled Ancient Monument 306.
