ST BURYAN BOSKENNA SW 42 SW 8/81 (A.M. No 797) Inscribed stone at SW42252366 - GV II

Inscribed stone. Pre-Conquest. Roughly-hewn granite monolith lying horizontally on the ground. The top of the stone has incised decoration and inscription in Latin possibly: EVOCATI E - A - The stone has sockets cut at either end, probably for later use as a gate post or stile stone. Scheduled Ancient Monument 797.
