Description

Higher Trevedran Farmhouse is an 18th-century farmhouse that underwent heightening of its eaves around the early 19th century. It is constructed of painted granite rubble with granite dressings and some oak lintels, topped with a concrete tile roof featuring granite rubble and dressed granite chimneys at the gable ends. The building has a long room plan, which was remodeled in the 20th century, and includes a wide integral outshut at the back on the left side, likely containing service rooms and a staircase.

The farmhouse is two storeys high and originally had a nearly symmetrical three-window front facing west-south-west, with a centrally located doorway. The original doorway has been replaced with a window, and a new doorway has been cut through the right-hand window opening. There is a 20th-century porch added to the entrance. The left side features an early 19th-century 16-pane hornless sash window, while the other windows are later 4-pane horned sashes, except for an old 12-pane casement located at the rear of the outshut. The interior has not been inspected.
