Description

Tregarrick Farmhouse is an 18th-century farmhouse that was extended in the 19th century. It features coursed granite rubble walls at the front, with granite dressings, and has a dry slate roof that sweeps lower at the rear. The farmhouse has dressed granite chimneys over the gable ends and a brick chimney towards the rear of the left-hand end wall. The building has a double depth plan with a later service room at the rear left, likely consisting of two large rooms at the front flanking an entrance hall that leads to a stair hall between the original rear service rooms. The exterior is two storeys high with a wide, symmetrical southeast front that includes a central doorway. The doorway features a circa early 19th-century four-panel door and a fanlight with lozenge panes. There is a circa late 19th-century polygonal fretted open porch with a slate roof, along with circa late 19th-century tripartite horned sash windows in the original wide window openings. The interior has not been inspected.
