Description

ST BURYAN TREVEDRAN SW 42 SW 8/165 Farm buildings immediately south - west of Higher Trevedran Farmhouse GV II Barn and adjoining cartsheds and stables. Circa mid C19. Granite rubble with granite dressings. Scantle slate roofs with gable ends except for corrugated iron over cartshed and stables towards left. Plan: Overall irregular U-shaped plan. Long rectangular barn with 2 single-storey wings built at right angles in front: a cartshed and stables towards the left and a cartshed on the right. Barn is built in 2 phases. Original barn (on the right) has threshing floor, with opposing first floor doorways, on its left. Exterior: 2 storey barn, single-storey additions. Virtually unaltered elevations. 2 window east-north-east front has 3 ground floor doorways (left-hand doorway partly blocked) and small window openings. First floor loading door towards right. Some old ledged doors and some old windows. Rear not inspected. Interior not inspected.
