Description

The barn located approximately 25 metres south-east of Lower Trevedran Farmhouse is a Grade II listed structure, dating from the mid-19th century. It is constructed of granite rubble with granite dressings and features a grouted scantle slate roof with gable ends. The barn has a rectangular plan, with a central threshing floor and opposing loading and winnowing doorways above a waggon house. On the right side, there are stables, and on the left, there is a stable or shippon.

The exterior is two storeys high. The north-west front has one window and features a central wide waggon doorway, with a loading doorway above it. There are additional doorways on the left and right, and a first-floor window towards the left. Two small windows flanking the doorway on the right are 20th-century enlargements or insertions. The rear of the building has not been inspected, nor has the interior.
