Barn At Approximately 20 Metres East Of Trevore Farmhouse

The barn located approximately 20 meters east of Trevore Farmhouse is a Grade II listed structure. It was rebuilt and extended in the early 19th century, incorporating elements from an older building likely dating back to the 18th century, which includes some 17th-century chamfered masonry that may have been reused after Trevore Farmhouse was refronted. The barn is constructed from granite rubble with granite dressings and features a slurried scantle slate half-hipped roof.

The barn has a rectangular plan, likely serving as a granary and fodder store above a shippon and stables. The right side of the barn contains a threshing floor, which is accessed by a large flight of stone steps at the rear. The exterior is two storeys high with an irregular two-window front on the south-west side. It has a central doorway with a chamfered lintel, another doorway with a chamfered lintel at the far right that is partly blocked, and a blocked doorway in the middle with a window on its left and above it. There is also a window towards the left, a first-floor window on the left, and a loading doorway on the right. The interior has not been inspected.
