Description
This is a bank barn located north east of Rosevidney Farmhouse, dating from the early 19th century. It is constructed of granite rubble with granite dressings and features a hipped roof covered in slurried scantle slate. The barn has a rectangular plan, likely serving as a granary over a shippon, and is built into the bank at the rear.
The exterior is two storeys high with a slightly irregular front. There is a doorway towards the left side with a loading and winnowing doorway above it, and another doorway at the far right. To the ground floor left of the main doorway, there are two slit ventilators, while the right side has two window openings on the first floor. The right-hand end of the barn includes a ground floor opening towards the rear and a central loading doorway on the first floor.
Inside, the barn retains its original floors and roof structure. Additionally, there is a granite monolithic mounting block positioned in front of the right-hand corner.
