Description

Trelill Farmhouse is an 18th-century farmhouse constructed of roughly coursed granite rubble with granite dressings. It has a steep scantle slate roof which slopes more gently at the rear, and substantial rubble stacks at both gable ends. The original plan features two large rooms at the front, flanked by an entrance hall, leading to a stair hall and rear service rooms; a 20th-century wing is located at right angles behind the stair hall. The south-west front has a nearly symmetrical three-window facade, with the doorway positioned slightly left of centre. The original window openings are still present. A 20th-century door is in place, alongside 20th-century three-light casement windows within wide ground floor openings. The first floor has tall, original 19th-century four-pane hornless sash windows. The interior was not inspected at the time of listing.
