7/364 Kitchen garden walls immediately - east of Trenethick Barton Farmhouse

GV II

Kitchen garden walls. Probably C16 and later. Killas rubble with some granite dressings. Rectangular-on-plan garden with high walls to 3 of the sides and lower wall immediately parallel to the house. Wall adjoining rear right-hand wing of the house has 3 doorways near the house and C19 lean-to piggery at rear. One doorway is original with chamfered granite doorway; the other doorways are later and have reused C16 or C17 chamfered granite lintels. Walls have rubble copings; piggery has grouted scantle slate roof.
