Description

Trelill Manor Farmhouse is a manor farmhouse dated 1732, as indicated by the datestone inscribed I.T.I. It is constructed of roughly coursed granite rubble with some granite dressings and features a steep asbestos slate roof that slopes lower at the rear. The building has dressed granite stacks with double drip courses over the gable ends. The original plan likely included a large central hall with large rooms on either side and service rooms in a rear outshut. If there was a central hall, it may have been heated by a rear lateral stack. The current layout is uncertain as the interior has not been inspected. The exterior consists of two storeys with a symmetrical seven-window front and a doorway set within an old glazed porch or conservatory. The doors and windows are from the 20th century, and the interior remains uninspected.
