Description
The Holy Well of Saint Wendronas is a holy well, likely dating from the 15th century. It is constructed of granite rubble with granite dressings and features a corbelled granite roof. The building has a square plan with a doorway located at the east end.
On the exterior, the only opening is a pointed-arched chamfered doorway situated in the middle of the east gable end. Inside, there are stone seats along the sides and a shallow pointed-arched well niche in the west wall. Above this niche, there is another niche with a shouldered head, which may have been used for light or possibly to hold a statue. The structure of the holy well remains unaltered and is well preserved.
