7/326 Holy well of Saint Wendronas at SW676285 (formerly listed as 10.7.57 Trelill Well)

GV II*

Holy well. Probably C15. Granite rubble with granite dressings. Corbelled granite roof. Plan: Square on plan with doorway at the east end. Exterior: The only opening is a pointed-arched chamfered doorway to the middle of the east gable end. Interior: There are stone seats at the sides and shallow pointed arched well niche in the west wall. Over this niche is another niche with shoulded head, presumably for light or perhaps for statue. The structure of the holy well is unaltered and well preserved.
