Description

ZENNOR BOSIGRAN SW 43 NW 3/345 House at approximately 30 metres - north north east of Bosigran Farmhouse GV II Farmhouse now used as farm building. Probably C17, remodelled in the C18 stone inscribed Bosigran Zennor 1834. Granite rubble with granite dressings. Scantle slate roof with granite coped gable ends. Plan: originally 2 rooms with entrance lobby and stair between. Eaves heightened in the C18 or possibly 1834. Exterior: 2 storeys. Nearly symmetrical 2 window east front with approximately central doorway. Small window openings particularly to first floor. First floor rubble masonry is coursed. Small stair window at rear middle and 2 small blocked ground floor windows. Interior: not inspected. Part of an unspoiled coastal hamlet set in the ancient field system of this part of Cornwall.
