Description
Bosigran Farmhouse and front garden walls are a farmhouse and garden walls dating from around the mid-19th century, with slight extensions made later in the 19th century. The structure is built of granite rubble with granite dressings and features dry Delabole parallel slate roofs, with brick chimneys on all gable ends. The farmhouse has a double depth plan, consisting of two original rooms at the front and a slightly wider room on the left, with a through passage between. There are two slightly later rear rooms of similar size to the front rooms. The exterior is two storeys high and nearly symmetrical, with a three-window south front. The doorway is slightly to the right of the middle but central to the window arrangement. It has a 20th-century door and late 19th or 20th-century four-pane horned sash windows. The rear elevation is similar to the front. The interior has not been inspected. This farmhouse is part of an unspoiled coastal hamlet located within the ancient field system of this area of Cornwall.
