Description

ZENNOR SW 43 NW 3/249 2 adjoining farmhouses south east - of Lower Porthmeor Farmhouse GV II 2 adjoining unoccupied farmhouses. Circa early C19. Granite rubble with granite dressings. Scantle slate over rear of right hand house, otherwise asbestos slate. Brick chimneys over the gable ends. Granite copings over party wall. Plan: 2 adjoining houses both with 2 rooms at the front cross passages between the rooms and with shallow rear service rooms under outshuts. The right-hand house has slightly deeper integral outshut at the rear left and later C19 outshut at rear right. Exterior: 2 storeys. Overall 6 window south-east front comprising 2 nearly symmetrical 3 window fronts with approximately central doorways. The left-hand house is lower. Surviving windows are circa late C19 4-pane horned sashes. Interiors: not inspected.
