Description

Two adjoining unoccupied farmhouses, dating from the early 19th century, are located south-east of Lower Porthmeor Farmhouse. They are constructed of granite rubble with granite dressings, featuring scantle slate on the rear of the right-hand house and asbestos slate on the rest. Brick chimneys are positioned over the gable ends, and granite copings are found over the party wall.

The plan consists of two adjoining houses, each with two rooms at the front and cross passages between them, along with shallow rear service rooms under outshuts. The right-hand house has a slightly deeper integral outshut at the rear left and a later 19th-century outshut at the rear right.

The exterior is two storeys high, with a total of six windows on the south-east front, featuring two nearly symmetrical three-window fronts and approximately central doorways. The left-hand house is lower than the right. The surviving windows are late 19th-century four-pane horned sashes. The interiors have not been inspected.
