2 Houses At Approximately 20 Metres South East Of Primitive Methodist Chapel

These are two similar adjoining houses located approximately 20 meters southeast of the Primitive Methodist Chapel, dating from the early 19th century. They are constructed of granite rubble with granite dressings and feature grouted scantle slate roofs, with brick chimneys positioned over the gable ends and the cross party wall. Each house has a two-room plan with central entrance lobbies. The exterior is two storeys high, presenting an overall four-window front that consists of two symmetrical two-window fronts with central doorways. The left-hand house has an original four-panel flush-beaded doorway, while the right-hand house has no door. The original windows are 12-pane hornless sashes, except for a later four-pane horned sash at the far left. The interiors have not been inspected.
